ii) Several career counseling programmes are also held every year in which
the aspiring students are motivated to join different careers.
iii) “Bal Sansad”: A Bal Sansad was organized on 12th January at the Tender
Heart Senior Secondary School premises. Students from 16 different schools
participated and it was also attended by many Ministers and renowned personalities. It
sought to inform the kids about the proceedings of the parliament. Present on the
occasion were State Assembly Speaker Inder Singh Namdhari along with a host of
Ministers, Legislators, Bureaucrats, Doctors, Advocates and eminent Journalists. A No
Objection Certificate ((NOC) was presented to the school on the occasion.
iv) “ Kyon Naa Doctor Bane” : A programme named “ Kyon Naa Doctor Bane”
was organized in the school premises on 5th February for the aspiring students. A
medical quiz was also organized on the occasion. Dr. Bharti Kashyap presided over
the programme, including many other renowned doctors of the city. They talked to the
students about diseases, prevention and cure.
v) Annual Function : They are regularly held in our school and are known by the
name of “kilkari” . It is a medium of enhancing the over all personality development
of our students along with spreading social messages like educating a girl child,
liberation of women forces etc.
vi) “Champion of Champions” in variety display : The beautiful and attractive
school lawn studded with eye catching flowers and ornamental plants have always
received awards both at the State and National level in different horticultural
competitions. It has also received the overall championship many times. The school
was awarded the “Champion of Champions” by securing 32 awards.
vii) Several workshops and seminars of principals, teachers etc. are also
viii) A free education campaign was also started in the Tender Heart School
premises on 24th October to educate the poor and needy children of the city. The
“Nishulk Vidyalaya” first started with only 35 students and now it has laid a milestone
in educating many such needy people. This programme was inaugurated by Mrs.
Kamal K. Marwah, the former first lady of Jharkhand. School uniforms were also
distributed among the poor children and Yogoda ashram free of cost by the school.
ix) A seminar on problem faced by the teachers in government schools was
also held recently. During the session, Principals of government schools discussed
their problems with their counterparts of public school.
